Mission Statement of Psalmist Mission:
To use music to bring Light into culture, bringing God's hand and people's hands together, while equipping leaders to do the same.
With the desire to raise up “trustworthy psalmists” in our valley, Psalmist Mission began a 9-month worship cohort has enabled the training of musicians to benefit the body of Christ.
If you or someone you know want to develop professionally in music and production, while growing as a spiritual leader, or you’d like to be apart of supporting this special work in our church and the Central Valley, we’d love to hear from you. Q: Who is the Psalmist Cohort geared towards?
A: Individuals who have a musical gift and want to develop their craft and their faith in Jesus, in a community of other like-minded psalmists.
Q: How often do we meet?
A: Weekly on Monday nights from 7–9pm. The Worship Cohort is 9 months of training, from March through mid-November and we take a month off during July, as well as major holidays.
Q: What is the maximum number of classes that can be missed due to schedule conflicts?
A: You are allowed up to 3 excused absences in the worship cohort.
