2 Kings 18:28–30 - “Then the Rabshakeh stood and called out with a loud voice in Hebrew, and spoke, saying, “Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria! Thus says the king: ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you from his hand; nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the Lord, saying, “The Lord will surely deliver us; this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.”’” (NKJV)

When I read this it reminded me of Satan in the garden when he said to Adam, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?...You will not surely die.”

Satan’s ways haven’t changed. It is the tactic he consistently uses to sway us away from what is Truth. He lures us into believing that what God says isn’t true, that there’s other “truths” as well. But God’s Word says, “Sanctify them by the truth: Your word is truth.” John 17:17

God’s Word is the measuring stick to determine Truth. We must remember and not be “swayed about with every wind of doctrine: “That we will no longer be children tossed to and fro and carried around by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may we grow up into Him who is the head-- Christ.” (Ephesians 4:14)

Continue to pray for each other that we would spend time with the Word of God, Jesus, every day… so we will know the difference between the Truth and the lies Satan uses against us. And, pray for the Church, that we would seek the Lord and what He says about how to love a world that Satan desires to deceive. He loves them so much and they need JESUS!

“We Are Not Alone….GOD IS WITH US!

We Are Not Alone
We are not alone
God is with us
We are never alone
For God is with us now
For all our days
Always
Forever and ever
We are never alone
